A dear friend once told us that selling his pottery was not a great way to make a living, but it was a great way to live. That is exactly how we feel about our farm and our horses!
From breeding to boarding, quality is our main goal.
Jade and Danny, one of our first Gypsy Sport Horses. Things were never the same again!
I grew up horse crazy and have always been in love with the Freisian Horse breed, but in 2004 I was offered a pair of Gypsy Sport Horse babies and my world has never been the same! I knew I had to find the best Gypsy Horse mare that I could to start my breeding program , but all my husband could say was "You want to spend how much money on a horse?" I knew then that it was going to take some work to convince him! Much to his dismay I began to research the Gypsy Breed online until the wee hours of the morning for two solid years. I learned all about the breed history, breeding lines, confirmation, and the different breed registries. (Ever wonder why Gypsy Vanners and GypsyCobs look the same? It's because they are the same!) It was only then, armed with all this information, that I could convince my husband that we should purchase our first full Gypsy Horse, Anna. Now we can't imagine our life without these beautiful horses.
