Romey is the first full Gypsy Horse baby born at our farm. Her Dam is our Gypsy Horse mare Annastasia, and her sire is the amazing full Gypsy Stallion from Blackshire Equestrian Center called Groovey.  

Romey is a classic example of what a Gypsy Horse should be, she has it all - the build, the super mellow temperament, the flashy movement and her mane, tail and feathering are long and thick. She is extremely friendly, smart and easy to work with just like her Momma.

*Update June 26, 2012: We are excited to announce that we have bred Anna to Don King, son of the legendary Lion King. DK of Feather Dance Ranch is a flashy, GVHS registered stallion with a calm and easy going manner. You may have seen DK peforming in the collesium at many previous MN Horse Expos. We can't wait to see these gorgeous babies sometime in June of 2013! (Picture of Don

We are very excited to announce the birth of the first Gypsy foal born at our farm!

On May 6, Anna gave birth to a gorgeous filly. Somehow during the course of the early morning birth, the new filly got under the fence and I found her roaming around about 20 feet from her Momma. I gathered her up, brought her back to her Momma and named her 'Romey."

 If we could have ordered Romey out of a catalog she couldn't be more exactly what we'd have wanted so we  have decided to keep her here with us at Simplicity Farms.
